Step 0: Notations This is a description of the notation used for square-1 algorithms |
Step 1: Back to square form A diagram showing all Square-1®shapes |
Step 2: Bring the corners in their correct layer (5 algos) It's a simple and intuitive step but each case is described and algorithms are provided |
Step 3: Bring the edges in their correct layer (7 algos) Only 7 short algorithms are needed to finish this step |
Step 4: Permute the corners within their layer (8 algos) No more than 8 short algorithms will be used to achieve this step |
Step 5: Permute the edges within their layer (>30 algos) The hardest step: more than 30 algorithms (without mirror and inverse) are used to permute the edges |
Step 6: Flip middle layer and swap layers (3 algos) These 3 short algoritms are used to flip middle layer and to swap layers |
